Last updated: February 10, 2026

1. Agreement

By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using Clipset (“the Software”), you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Software.

2. License

Upon purchase, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to:

  • Install and use Clipset on up to two (2) devices owned or controlled by you
  • Use the Software for both personal and commercial purposes
  • Use the Software for unlimited projects and unlimited clients
  • Generate unlimited video files using the Software

You may not:

  • Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or share the Software or your license key with others
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software, except as permitted by applicable law
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks on the Software
  • Use the Software to build a competing product or service

3. Lifetime License

“Lifetime” means the commercial lifetime of the Clipset product — the period during which the product is actively developed and distributed. It does not mean perpetuity. If the product is discontinued, your license to use the last available version continues indefinitely, but no further updates will be provided.

4. Updates

Your purchase includes all future updates to Clipset at no additional cost for the lifetime of the product. Updates may include new features, bug fixes, and compatibility improvements. We are not obligated to release updates on any specific schedule.

5. Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. If you are not satisfied with Clipset for any reason, contact us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.

After 30 days, refunds are provided at our discretion.

To request a refund, email us at contact@clipset.app with your order confirmation.

6. Payment

Payments are processed by Polar (polar.sh) using Stripe as the payment infrastructure. All prices are displayed in USD unless otherwise stated. You are responsible for any applicable taxes in your jurisdiction.

7. Third-Party Dependencies

Clipset requires FFmpeg to function. FFmpeg is a separate, open-source project licensed under the LGPL/GPL and is not included with or bundled in Clipset. You are responsible for installing FFmpeg on your system. We are not responsible for FFmpeg’s functionality, availability, or licensing.

By using Clipset with FFmpeg, you agree to comply with FFmpeg’s license terms. More information: ffmpeg.org/legal.html

8. Intellectual Property

Clipset, including its design, code, documentation, and branding, is the intellectual property of Sergei Suslov and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

Your purchase grants you a license to use the Software. It does not transfer any ownership of the Software or its intellectual property to you.

The videos and content you create using Clipset are yours. We claim no rights or ownership over your output files.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Clipset is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Merchantability
  • Non-infringement
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation

We do not warrant that the Software will meet your specific requirements, that results will be accurate, or that defects will be corrected.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Sergei Suslov, his affiliates, or associates be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Software

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the Software shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Software.

11. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Ensuring your system meets the minimum requirements (macOS 12+, FFmpeg installed)
  • Backing up your video files and project files
  • Ensuring you have the rights to use any video or audio content you process with Clipset
  • Complying with all applicable laws regarding the content you create

12. Content Responsibility

Clipset is a video processing tool. You are solely responsible for the content you create, including compliance with copyright, trademark, advertising, and other applicable laws. We are not responsible for how you use the generated video files.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your license if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must stop using and delete all copies of the Software. Sections 8, 9, 10, and 12 survive termination.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of Clipset after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you via email.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the UAE.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Sergei Suslov regarding the use of Clipset, and supersede any prior agreements or communications.
